Some Data Didn't Sort:

  • You probably selected too small a range

  • Undo and select all related columns

  • Include all rows with data

Formulas Broke After Sorting:

  • This shouldn't happen with proper selection

  • Check that cell references are correct

  • Consider using absolute references ($A$1)

Today's Success Check:

  • [ ] I can sort data alphabetically by name

  • [ ] I can sort data by performance (highest to lowest)

  • [ ] I can create multi-level sorts

  • [ ] I understand the importance of selecting all data

  • [ ] My formulas still work after sorting

Professional Tip: Always keep an unsorted "master" copy of your data. Sort copies for specific purposes.
