Beginner-Friendly Navigation Tips:

Getting Lost? Use Ctrl + Home

  • No matter where you are in Excel, Ctrl + Home takes you back to A1

  • Think of it as your "home base"

Making Mistakes? Use Ctrl + Z

  • Deleted something by accident? Ctrl + Z

  • Typed in wrong cell? Ctrl + Z

  • Excel did something weird? Ctrl + Z

Want to Edit, Not Replace?

  • Click the cell, then press F2

  • Now you can edit the text instead of starting over

Save Your Work (Important!):

  • Press Ctrl + S after every few changes

  • Excel doesn't save automatically unless you tell it to

  • Better safe than sorry!

Common Beginner Scenarios:

"I clicked somewhere and now I'm lost!" → Press Ctrl + Home to get back to the top

"I deleted everything by accident!" → Press Ctrl + Z immediately to undo

"I want to change one word, not the whole cell!" → Click the cell, press F2, then edit

"Should I save this?" → Yes! Press Ctrl + S every few minutes
